Y por aqui todavia me encuentro, despues de 31 juegos y en tan solo 2 de ellos en la cual he podido abrir en el Line up de joven del equipo de Toronto, ha sido dificil ver accion. La temporada esta joven y en verdad los muchachos se sienten frescos hasta el momento con un record de 17 ganados y 14 perdidos.Estamos jugando bien a pesar de no estar produciendo como la gente lo esperaba y los errores mentales se han minimizado gracias al trabajo incansable de los coaches del equipo que estan pendiente en todos los pequenos detalles que hacen la diferencia entre un rally grande y permitir una carrera.Es en ese aspecto del juego en la cual yo he estado ayudando desde el dogaut en lo que pueda ya que no he jugado mucho.Lo importante es estar preparado para la ocasion y mantener una actitud positiva ante las decisiones  del manager que algunas veces no compartimos. Hace 2 semanas me botaron del juego por reclamar bolas y strikes sin estar jugando y eso es una buena senal de mantener la chispa encendida , pero me claveron mis 400$ de todas maneras. El 6 de mayo jugando SS en Anaheim me converti en el jugador de mayor edad en jugar esa posicion la cual me siento muy contento por hacerlo, especialmente en esta epoca donde es tan dificil conseguir peloteros q jueguen por tantos anos., y de todos los records, este es uno del cual me siento mas satisfecho y gratificado. Otro que anda por alli de mi grupo es el lanzador zurdo Jamie Moyer tambien gano su 1er juego a la edad de 49 anos .Felicitaciones para el. Ojala nos piche algun dia a ver si puedo jugar ese dia.el rookie Henderson Alvarez de mi equipo y compatriota tambien gano su 1er juego y de que forma.Le tiro una blanqueada y juego completo a los Angelinos ,Tremendo trabajo chamo.

  Y acabamos de dejar a Oakland donde dividimos 1 y 1 en 2 jueguitos. Por cierto nos quedamos en San Francisco ya que solo es 20 minutos cruzando el famoso puente Bay desde la bahia al Coliseum de los Atleticos. Que recuerdos y como goza uno en San Francisco, mi ciudad favorita. El lunes fue libre y nos invitaron a casa de un buen amigo que toca musica latin jazz .Los muchachos de la banda BANDIDO montaron sus instrumentos y su parrillada en la calle 25 del distrito Mission y armamos el desorden por alla gracias a ellos por ponernos a gozar y tambien a la familia Rivas Samaris y Gio por brindarnos sus atenciones con su famosa paella ,mientras q Dennis Rodriguez nos deleito con sus geniales cuentos.

 El viaje a Minnesota estuvo tambien parejo en donde dividimos en dos y dos en cuatro juegos ,el viernes tenia entradas para ir a ver la banda de Sammy Hagar y Joe Satriani ChickenFoot pero la lluvia nos hice esperar mas de 2 horas y no me dio tiempo de llegar al esperado concierto.Tuve que mandar a uno de los muchachos del clubhouse a que me comprara aunque sea una camisa y de paso una a mi hijo Nico que es rockero empedernido y me pidio una tambien.Ahora de regreso a Toronto donde aparentemente ya el clima ha calentado y estaremos jugando con el techo abierto .Les avisare como nos fue .Un saludo muy especial a todas las madres en su dia especialmente a la mia quien me llevaba a los juegos cuando chamito y era mi principal motivadora  a la hora de jugar.Te adoro mucho Eucaris.

Where is Waldo?

  After 34 games into the season i haven’t been able to play much.I had only started Twice and it been difficult for the manager Farrell to find a spot where i can play a little bit.The most important thing is that the team is playing good and that i am ready whenever i get the call to fill in for any of the young infielders that we have. I dont think that right now they really need a break in this young season but i had been aware of every move they make .If i can help in any detail or advice then i can mention something to them despite all the information that is been provide by coach B Butterfield and T Lovullo who had been great when is time to prepare the players for the game. These guys are doing a great job it seens like nothing is going by them and if something inexpectable is happening out there is not because we didn’t know.Now we are 19 wins and 16 losses but i,m sure the guys are going to play better and the bats are gonna come around soon.The pitching had been outstanding ,always giving us a chance to win the game.By the way congrats to the rookie H. Alvarez in his 1st win of the season throwing a shut out and a complete game to the anaheim angels last week.During the same time a day later I became the oldest player to play SS at the age 45, and Jamie Moyer with the Colorado Rookies oldest pitcher to win a game at age 49.Congrats to him too.I hope that someday we can play againts them so i can play with a guy of my own age jaja.

   Also we had the chance to visit San Francisco where we stay when we played the Oakland A’s.Only 20 minutes away, going across the Bay Bridge,i still have a lot of friends in the bay area and with a day off there i had the chance to visit my good friend Richard Segovia from the Band Bandido .The guys where great cooking some typical spanish rice, beans and fish and them break out the instruments to play and dance some of the electrifying salsa beats that we are identified with.A lot of fun.Thanks to them and to my good friends Samaris and Gio Rivas for their hospitality at their house and their tasty Paella con Arepas muy bueno.

  The Minnesota trip was also very nice .We played under some great wheather except on friday when we had a 2 hours rain delay, the  only day when i really wanted to get out early because of a concert that i wanted to see ,i had no chance.The band ChickenFoot was playing only two blocks away from Target Field but the rain sabotage my fun.I was really looking forward to see Joe Satriani in guitars one of my favorites and of course Sammy Hagar with Michael Anthony on bass, would of been pretty cool to see.We left Minnesota Winning 2 and losing 2 and now heading home where we ll be facing the Subway Teams from New York ,The Yankees and the Mets .Should be fun.

On this day May 13 i would like to send some love to all the Moms around the world on their day.Make sure you give them all the love that they deserved specially mine Eucaris who took me to all my games when i was in little league and was my biggest fan and motivator of every game i played Thanks Mom I love You........
