Hoy ha sido un día muy emocional.Para unos el sueño de quedarse en grandes ligas se ha roto y para otros las expectativas se han realizado. En mi caso me sentia ansioso de escuchar las palabras del Manager de que me había quedado y así fue esta mañana cuando junto al General Manager me llamaron a la oficina y me felicitaron por estar dentro de los 25, me dijeron que no era por el historial sino porque en verdad ellos vieron que podía ayudar al equipo en diferentes cosas y eso me llena de emoción. Me sentí como el rookie aquel que a los 21 años le dijeron por 1ra vez que se había quedado en el equipo grande, tenia tiempo que en un spring training no me sentía tan angustiado en esperar esa noticia.
Parece mentira que estoy jugando mi temporada 24 en las grandes ligas y uno voltea hacia atrás y hay tantos peloteros con los cuales he jugado, algunos de ellos hasta Manager y yo todavía sigo por aquí dando brincos.La gente me pregunta cuál es el secreto, pero en verdad es inexplicable, son tantas cosas juntas que si dijera una mentiría. Así que a probar suerte y a tratar de cerrar con broche de oro en un equipo que se ve muy entusiasmado por el reto que tenemos este año y que se ve muy cerca de lograr ese próximo paso de lo que significa ser un gran equipo, así que arriba los Blue Jays!
GRACIAS a todas aquellas personas que me han brindado su apoyo y han estado pendientes a traves de los medios de mi actuación en verdad es una gran motivación.

Today it had been a very emotional day, those who prepared to stay in the Big Leagues are waiting for some good news but unfortunately not everybody will be traveling north to Toronto, in my case I received the news that I would be on the final 25, something that I was anxious to know and I haven't experience since 1989 the first year that I made the team for first time at the age of 21. It was a pretty emotional moment just like today, I felt like a little kid when I heard the Manager John Farrell and the General Manager Alex Anthopoulos congratulate me on the decision they made.
It looks so unreal that I'm going to be on my 24th season in the Big Leagues and when you look back it seems like time flew so many players are gone, some of them are scouting and some of them even managers and here I am still jumping around. People always ask me what is the secret, but there are so many things that is at stage that if I mention one I will be lying. So I can't wait for the season to start and face the new challenge for the out coming season and close my career in a great note with a team that is showing as much passion as I have for the game. So let's go Blue Jays!

Con esta juventud que llevas y humildad, pienso que esta no es tu ultima temporada en las grandes... Te queda aun mucha madera! Saludos y nos vemos dentro de unas semanas!
